Gulfstream G500 was introduced to the market as a lower fuel capacity, shorter-range (5,800nm) version of the G550 ultra-long-range jet. The two models share BR710-C4-11 powerplants, exterior appearance, cabin dimensions (typically configured for 18) and PlaneView cockpit, although EVS is only an option on new G500s.
